ADR TESTING SERVICE

In 2014, the workshop of our sister company Yerseke Engine Services was equipped with a modern test bench. The test bench has all the appropriate facilities and more than 160 sensors. The test bench makes it possible to perform detailed tests of overhauled engines. ADR uses this test bench too.

The numbers tell the story

The test bench was designed in such a way that the situation on board can be imitated exactly. There is space for two engines. The engines can undergo trial runs while loaded, using electrical resistances. The revs and the torque are measured in this way. In addition, the temperatures, pressure, fuel values and emission values, the turbo-charging pressure and the efficiency are also measured. All the data is shown on ten displays in the control room. Everything is videoed to make sure that it can be viewed again later on. Customers are welcome to attend the tests of the engines.

Certificates

The test bench can perform the test for classification (Lloyds and Bureau Veritas) for you. Engines that have been modified because of emission regulations can be tested for a new certification.

Maximum reliability

After the engine has been tested using the test bench, it means that all possible precautions have been taken to deliver a good product. There is very little chance of complications after the assembly on board. It is reassuring for the customer as well as for ADR, because ADR delivers and installs engines throughout the world.
